AST is supported by the U.S. Department of State's OFFICE OF OVERSEAS SCHOOLS.

AST follows AERO STANDARDS and BENCHMARKS. AERO (American Education Reaches Out) has adapted U. S. national standards in Mathematics, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Music, Visual Arts and World Languages to serve the needs of a multi-national student body. Over 1600 faculty from nearly 400 international schools have participated in AERO training and 98 international schools are currently using the standards.

AST will complete the high school when it adds grade 12 in 2010-2011. The following year we will begin the accreditation process with Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
