The AST parents are a very supportive and active component of our school family. Besides doing outreach activities for new parents, the PTA organizes several social events, such as an Iftar evening, a holiday program, a teacher appreciation day, and an end-of-year dinner. In addition, the parents organize a Chili Cook-Off, where AST chefs try to win the coveted Quintana Cup, and the AST Fall Festival that serves as a major fund raiser. The proceeds help purchase additional equipment for the school.
